“ The chicken was delicious and well cooked. The service was good and the hostesses were very friendly. The restaurant has a relaxing coastal feel and the outside is wonderful for a pretty day. The manager was very kind and attentive. ”

“ For an appetizer, we got the pimento cheese platter and it did not disappoint. For the main dish, I got the skirt steak bowl. It had a very distinct southwest flavor too it with a little bit of kick to it. The server was in training but was very cordial and kind to us, always making sure she refilled waters and checked on us regularly. On the surface, Blue Surf may seem like a bland restaurant compared to some of the other popular restaurants around Wilmington, but I would definitely head back there again and choose it over some of the restaurants that are popular downtown or on the beach. ”

“ Service- A+++ Food- honestly amazing pretty greasy though. Brisket sandwich knocks it out of the water, the veggies as sides have a non spicy but flavorful almost Indian spice, asparagus s amazing, and they do an interesting sweet potato molasses soy side that is very good but also on the sweet side. ”

“ We arrived somewhere around 10:30 AM on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables inside and outside. The full menu including the lunch options were available. They have high chairs for babies. I wished the highchair was a little higher so the baby can be a little bit higher than the table. Decor was very inside and outside. Food was great. My partner and our friends enjoyed their food. I ordered the Cubano with a side of asparagus and lemon aïoli. My partner had eggs with bacon, sausage, hashbrowns. My plate was nicely presented. I really liked the asparagus, thin, slightly crispy. Aïoli was flavorful. Used save30, which covered most of the bill for me and my partner. ”

“ Reservations suggested. I finally had a chance to eat at this Blue Surf location. The space is huge with plenty of seating options both inside and outside. The patio has fans and heaters so it's great for dining alfresco. Service was very nice and let us linger for a long time without feeling rushed. Food wise, we all loved our choices. My only slight complaint was not being able to do a decaf cappuccino and my eggs were a little over cooked. But otherwise, super tasty and fresh ingredients. I can't wait to go back and try other items on their menu. ”

“ Spontaneous lunch date! We had cubano sandwich and beef something or other on GF bun. They were good. The cubano was good, i would have preferred spicy brown mustard, not yellow. The beef was yumm I had asparagus as a side. He had chips. We ended up ordering dirty chips w steak because we were still hungry. (Gf bread is so small!) It was good. Nothing crazy. Sitting outside was nice. I think we would go back ”

“ A friend and I had lunch yesterday. She suggested this location, as it's a sit down service, rather than at the other location where you order your food at the counter. The place wasn't crowded at all, maybe four tables with people. I had the citrus chicken at their other location, so I decided to try the Shrimp Za'atar. In fact my friend also ordered it. We asked the waitress how heavily salted the food was. It seems many restaurants in Wilmington have a heavy hand with salt. She stated she would speak to the chef. The manager came out and confirmed our request. Our food arrived. The grilled shrimp came with a delicious lemon aioli sauce, vegetable quinoa and sautéed vegetables (zucchini, mushrooms and onions). Everything was delicious! Nice flavors but not overpowering and not overly salty. We loved it!! The manager checked in with us. That was very nice of her. Good service by our waitress. We plan to return on a Sunday for their brunch. ”
